Day 20,267

It’s a quiet Wednesday night in rural Douglas County. The ladies in my life are all in Washington, D.C., as Lisa has NIH meetings, and Bonnie and Gracie tagged along as a spring break getaway.

I got up early to run them to the airport at 4:30. After I got back home, I started a pot of coffee, and promptly fell asleep. The timer went off on the coffee pot awhile later, letting know that the warmer was turning off.

After that it was back to studying and practicing. I want every aspect of the classes I’m teaching to flow naturally. I know it won’t always be perfect, but the message has to be clear and concise. I’ve written in other blog posts how I feel about the opportunity before me.

I always have a hard time sleeping when Lisa is gone.

That’s pretty normal, though, from what I’ve heard.

Where was I?

I need to put a little thought into a work project next week. I’m thinking I’ll start to focus on the Solutions Architect certification. It seems like the next natural evolutionary step.

That’s about all I have for tonight. Unless of course, you want me to go into excruciating detail about the muddy bog that my driveway has become.

One more rainfall and we’ll be able to have swamp buggy competitions just off the main road.

Peace y’all.
