Day 19,857

It’s my dad’s birthday. Donald Bruce Reinsch turns 77 years old today. Called home to wish him the best, and at the time I called he hadn’t received the birthday gift I had sent, but that’s OK.

My dad is a great guy. He showed me how to work, and that hard work leads to rewards. I don’t think I ever worked as hard as he did, but I have made my efforts along the way, and I’m now living in the home that reflects the effort Lisa and I put in. It’s no mansion, but it’s a fine home, with plenty of space to watch out future grandchildren play.

(That’s you guys)

Other happenings on the day… KU traveled to K-State and won their basketball game their handily. I’ll take a win over an in-state rival any day of the week.

Events with some historical relevance… The deputy director of the FBI was pretty much sent on leave until his retirement after Trump found out that he didn’t vote for him. Also. the Nunes FISA memo was released… that was a little curious because in as much as the GOP voted to release the memo, they voted against releasing the source info and the Dem response.
