Good morning, and a very happy Monday to you all. It’s time to get to work, people! Today is 23 JUne 2025.
We had a good weekend around here. Friday was Dane’s official birthday… although we celebrated on Thursday. We opened some gifts for the young man on Friday… books and a new blade. Dane likes pocket knives, and has a pretty vast knowledge of the metals and locking mechanisms of his knives – that knowledge might be an extension of his mechanical engineering interests.
I have work to focus on this week. I’m reviewing some labs, and I have a good start on the first course, and the second one shouldn’t be quite as demanding. The goal is to have everything wrapped up by the end of the month, and I hope to have my part completed by the end of the day on Friday.
Gracie and Evie were over here quite a bit this weekend. We’re making some changes out here, and the barn is now called “the shop”. The change makes some sense. We’ll create a woodworking space for me, and get my power tools organized, and we’ll get address some of the plumbing needs, with a toilet and wash basin to start. It has a lot of potential.
Other than that, there’s plenty for me to focus on. Right now, my attention is being steered towards the coffee pot and an everything bagel.
